Then, you can have something more personal than the little green monster that it seems to give everyone (it’s supposed to generate a different one for each person).

Anyway, do it then comment and show it off! Woot.

It almost didn’t come out due to the fact that I had the camera setup for the flashes, and the flashes weren’t exactly pointing at him. The flash bounced just enough to make it come out.

Also, you’ll see on these photos that I am using a new “signature” at the bottom. I wanted to include the EXIF data on the image and be able to automate it. I decided if I used a light background with dark-ish type over it, that it should show up on any photo. Whoever reads this, let me know what you think. What would you change or really anything.

This is our dinner table, I’m pretty sure it is from Wendy’s. My parents recovered the seats and had them powdercoated.

Now when I post a picture, it has a background of gray that contains both the image and the cut-line for the photo. This was something that I wanted to clear up as I feel that it is too easy to get confused which tag goes to which photo.

Also, I changed up the tags at the bottom of the page. I made them ALL CAPS and bold. If you don’t use the tags ever, you should give them a shot. They can be really useful, though not so much for my blog, but in general they are a neat tool.

The last and my favorite thing I changed up, is the comment appearance. Now every other comment has a light-gray background. And my comments will be outlined and have the admin sign in the top right corner (I couldn’t resist). I realize that most of the time I only have one comment at best (if any), but I was determined to figure it out. I did, so it stays.

That brings me to Mike Aitken. As per the norm for his family, they posted a new blog up today that said:

Mike is getting ready for Christmas and continuing to work hard in therapy. The dexterity in his right hand has improved greatly and he’s back buttoning up his little boy Owens clothes for him. It’s great to see Mike able to get back to some of these simple tasks that we all take for granted.Mike also continues to work on his core muscles and the muscles in his right leg to further eliminate the limp he was left with after the accident. He’s wrapping things up in speech therapy which focuses on helping with memory, problem solving, orientation, language and communication. Mike has come a long way in just 2 months and is now focusing on strengthening his voice and sounding more like he did before the accident. He’s a fighter and it’s been amazing to watch how quickly he has recovered from such a devastating injury.Happy Holidays

Man, that is probably some of the best news you can get at the holiday season!

This just shows how good and how smooth the guy is. This is my kind of BMX, I don’t care, style over tricks all day SON!

So, now I have taken a little bit more time. The buttons just look cliché for the web, but that is kinda what I wanted.

So now I have 5 categories:
pedal powered (bmx, bikes and that kind of stuff)
from real life (shots of people, friends or just normal stuff)
feet meet street (urban, city and street photography)
press-pop-post (flash or strobist photos)
anything else (photos that are just kinda random and don’t really fall into a category)

I may end up having to come up with other categories or maybe remove some but for now I think this will make things much easier for me.
