it was hot today

I didn’t do anything today. I spent pretty much my whole day inside, either watching TV with Shauna or playing video games. It was extremely nice out, but was just way too hot. I even tried to sit outside on the deck, but it just felt horrible.

I have been kind of bummed about riding lately. My bike is in desperate need of repair and some TLC, but I just don’t have the cash to put towards it right now. Other than my rear wheel being completely out of true, my grips are shot, my headset keeps popping, my chain is way stretched, my rear tire is done-for, my pedals needing to be replaced, AND I also think my forks may be screwed. Plus I am SOOOO over riding at the park. I think I want to ride street, I think. But, for now, I am just gonna take a fews days off and chill. I am going to do something different, maybe shoot some nature photos or go for a drive and see where I end up. Eh, I don’t know.

I am so ready for this house to be mine! I am over faxing/emailing forms. I want to move in and drink a beer in MY house. That would take a huge load off my back. I also need to pick up a couple of lenses somehow, since I have been using my own equipment at my weddings. UGH!!! Make money to spend money, right? Sure.

That’s it, just wanted to update my “followers.”

p.s. I did pick these guys up, probably shouldn’t have spent the money, but it’s done now.

    Dude I hear that!I have been wanting to ride street with someone who knows the spots for a minute. I get burnt out on park really easily. I have a few parts that I can float your way. I have an almost new set of headset bearings, a set of new coalition grips, a set of almost new season grips, a GLH, an ASM, and probably a F and R set of Aitken Plytes since I am about to get a set of Comets. I also have a set of good condition Primo Stricker PCs. Let me know if you need any of this stuff and it is yours. I know how broke you can get buying a house.

    Corey, I have some trail mixes you can have. You know me and pedals…

    Having a busted ass ride takes it out of you…that is why I sort of balk when Brian Foster says that if your bike looks dialed, it isn’t being ridden enough. I ride like a motherfucker but I keep the stallion dialed. It is a symbiotic relationship. I am down to ride anything, so if you are getting park jaded, let’s go somewhere else.

    Thanks guys! I appreciate it. Is that ASM the folding version? I think my pedals will last for a bit.

    Really, I think it is mostly the park that has got me bored with riding. Ike, I may have to pick up some of your goods, we’ll talk price, I don’t want to take advantage of ya! But, we’ll get that straightened out…

    The price is free. I have no use for the parts so I am happy to help out. The ASM is not folding unfortunately. It is a pre folding era ASM but has like 97 percent tread left. Just let me know what you need. Some of it is in Georgia but I am going back next week so I will just pick up whatever I have and you can sort through what you need. I have to pick up my old Castillo bars I left there. Sentimental value if you get my meaning.Lets definately ride some street.
