I know it really doesn’t make a difference, but that doesn’t matter. Go get/make yourself a gravatar! It’s free and only takes like 15 seconds. Really
Then, you can have something more personal than the little green monster that it seems to give everyone (it’s supposed to generate a different one for each person).
Anyway, do it then comment and show it off! Woot.

the gravatar is the “icon” that is beside my name (the photo of me). it is short for “Globaly Recognized Avatar.”
using one will allow you to have a picture beside your name, it could be a snowman, bird, cat, helicopter or whatever. once it is set up, any other site that uses this type of “icon” will display the same photo.
it uses your email address as a type of login. so when you input your email address to comment, you would also be logging in so that your picture shows up.
