I had just about forgotten about these pictures. For Christmas, Shauna and I bought her nephew a 16” bicycle. It’s a badass red Huffy. Every time we watch him, all he wants to do is have me push him around on my bike. So we knew that getting him the bike was a sure bet.

Unfortunately, Shauna and I were both under the weather (to say the least). So we weren’t able to give it to him on Christmas.

I think it was that following weekend or thereabout when we got to watch him and surprise him! He was so excited to see it. He ran right over to it and jumped on, grabbed the bars and tried to pedal. Too bad he was on some fairly thick carpet that kept him from moving.

Despite the weather that day being cold and wet, we headed to the closest parking garage. He is such a natural. It was fun pedaling around with him. He hasn’t been over since, but we’ll have him over again soon and possibly get those training wheels off!
