i [think] i hate a thief
I was waken up this morning by one of our neighbors knocking on our door. This is strange because the entire time we have lived here, we have not once really talked to any of our neighbors, aside from passing when walking Capone or coming and going.
Shauna got to the door first and I overheard the girl saying something about a window being broken and that it was one of our cars. Yep, it was mine.
I walk outside figuring that my beaut-of-a-bike had been stolen. PHEW!!! Fortunately (trying to be positive here), they didn’t take a single thing. Mostly because the only thing in my car was my bike. Although, I did have my iPod charger plugged in, and with the white cord screaming, “Hey, I’m charging an easily stolen and fairly high-value mp3 player!” The catch is that I didn’t have my iPod in the car. So, trying to stay positive, everything is cool. I just have to replace the window by Wednesday so we can still go snowboarding!
