A while back a super badass bmx’er/good guy/dad took it pretty hard riding. Mike Aitken is one of those guys you can look up to on many levels. His family has a blog and it’s pretty hard to read through without getting a little choked up. He’s from SLC, Utah and recently won the Dew Tour there. I just now (tonight) went to his blog, after kind of avoiding it. I knew he was in pretty bad shape, but after hearing some good news, I finally made myself go check it out. I’m glad I did.

He’s definitely getting better, but he’s not in the clear yet…Everyone has their fingers crossed, Mike!
