Seriously! Tonight after I was disgusted with my inability to ride at the park, I decided to leave. I just wanted to redeem myself in a way. And one thing I feel pretty confident in–wallrides.

I have been wanting to just do a wallride all week. Of all the things we didn’t get at our skatepark, a wallride is what I really wished we had. I mean, I love our park. But it was built by skaters (and mostly for skaters). Nothing like the Greenville skatepark though! At least we are “allowed.” That’s a whole different matter….

Anyway, I kinda have this wall, call it my buddy. I just like that it is white, lends itself to pictures and is directly across from a KFC. There is nothing special about it, but I love it.

Shauna had accompanied me to skatepark and also here. I asked her if she wanted to try to get some shots of me. Normally, anytime I ask her, she just replies with “I don’t know how to use your camera” or “I don’t want to break anything.” Well, tonight she obliged. And man I am happy she did. I set the flashes up and got everything ready for her. When it came to timing, she was almost spot on! I was so excited for her and I think she was too.
