its GLAMorous
So I kinda tweaked my bars, which I should have figured would happen. I let the lightweight trend get the best of me and I bought some S&M T4 Race bars. S&M makes great products but when something says race, it usually means just that, racing. The bars were kinda pricey, but at the time, I was counting ounces…I feel ashamed.
Anyway, I have narrowed down my choices, but couldn’t make up my mind. I am either going with the Odyssey Space bars or the Odyssey Lumberjack bars. Both of these bars are really far from what I normally would ride. I was going to just get some updated bars that I used to run, but these are guaranteed for life against BENDING or BREAKING!! So that is the selling point.
Luckily, Stephen has some Mutiny Glam bars that he wasn’t using at the moment and they pretty much have the same geometry as the above bars, they’re just made by a different company. I asked if I could borrow them and he asked me to raw them. Not a bad deal, not at all! Thanks bro!
So we actually got out and rode some street and I loved them! Absolutely loved them. I was able to manual better and really, they just felt great all around. They did take some getting used to, but that only lasted about 10 minutes.
I’m stoked and I think I’m going to go with the Odyssey Lumberjacks. They are essentially the exact same bar, so its gonna be cake to adapt.
That’s all, I hope everyone had a good weekend and holiday!
