A few weeks ago, I posted that my motorcycle was for sale…at the time I didn’t have any newer photos of it.

But, as of yesterday, I have a few new photos of it.

So this is gonna be the [new] official sale thread!

2005 Honda CBR 600RR, 23,384 miles, all black.

PRICE: $5,500

I got the bike with 17,xxx miles and have since performed 3 oil changes (its due for a 4th soon). The bike runs and performs flawlessly. The previous owner put all the miles on it by commuting back and forth to work. The majority of its life was spent cruising on the interstate. And judging by the tires that were on it when I got it, he didn’t push it hard in the turns (major chicken strips!). I replaced the tires when I got it with Michelin Pilot Powers and also changed out the sprockets and chain with a RK/Vortex Hop-up kit. Its a steel front sprocket (-1 tooth) and black anodized rear sprocket and gold RK O-ring 520 chain.

About 300 miles ago, I powdercoated the rear swingarm, phosphate coated all the bolts to a flat gunmetal gray color, put on a Yoshimura RS-5 carbon fiber exhaust, put on Vortex black anodized rearsets (and converted to GP shifting which reverses the shift pattern) and last replaced the stock halogen light with a DDM HID setup.

I also filled the bars with steel shot to dampen the vibration and replaced the stock ends with aluminum bar ends with carbon fiber inserts (I only did this because one of the stock ends fell off and these were available first).

I also replaced the rear turn signals with MOTRAX LED Tinycators clear lens/yellow led’s.

I guess I should also mention that it comes with a front and rear stand. The front is a Pitbull fork-lift and the rear is a Lightning Performance. I also have all the stock parts that I have taken off. Even if you don’t want them personally, you could always take it and scrap it or re-sell it on ebay or on a forum.
