It has been a long time since Robyn visited us. And it had been a full year since the last time I had seen her. She has moved all over the place. And judging by the impact she had for the short time she was here, I can only imagine the footprint she has left all over the Great States…

She came in town Friday night for a friend of her’s wedding on Saturday. Plus it was her birthday weekdend, at least for the east coast friends of hers.

On Saturday I had a wedding to shoot, so I didn’t get to partake in the Smokies game they went to, but Shauna got a few interesting shots at the game.

Sunday was an absolute blast! It is odd saying this because we went to Dollywood. Wooohooo, right!? That is exactly what I thought. I mean, I used to go to Dollywood once a week, every week while I was younger with my daycare. So needless to say, I have had no desire to ever set foot back inside the park, ever.

I could not have been more wrong. Dollywood is fun! I know going with all of my friends made a huge difference, but seriously, it has a ton of stuff now. And by a ton of stuff, I mean they have a few awesome rollercoasters!!!!!

Regardless of how hot it was on Sunday, we all had a blazing good time!

I found out that Michael gets the shakes when he thinks about the Blazing Fury. That was funny to watch.

By the end of the day we had rode all of the rides, decided we were gonna buy our pictures they take while on the rollercoasters and that some of us were gonna upgrade to season passes. Yes, me being one of them.

We actually stayed until the park closed. And we got to be the last people to ride the Thunderhead rollercoaster that particular day. How cool!

So I have to say that my mind has been changed. I can’t wait to get some people together to go back!

Also, it would be nice if Robyn moved back. She is too much fun! Happy early birthday! We love you!
